Karl believes in the power of growth and persistence. Following three seasons at Vanderbilt where he won a national title, Karl transferred to Lynn University in 2017 to gain more playing time and improve. That ultimately led to an opportunity with the Lake Erie Crushers, where Karl is focused on elevating his game. He loves helping others reach their goals and brings a ton of enthusiasm into every session with a young athlete.

How do you motivate others?

I try to challenge others mentally and physically so that they can build real confidence in themselves on and off the field.

Who was your mentor?

My father. I was and am still fortunate to have someone who pushes me to better myself mentally and physically.

What was your favorite youth sports moment?

My favorite moment was traveling to Puerto Rico to be humbled as a 12 year old in the AABC World Series. It was my first time playing outside of the mainland U.S.
